Split Unpressed 7 part of the "Take Cover" series.
This month Unpressed 7s presents two cover songs arranged, performed and recorded by two different Richmond musicians / sound engineers: Dave Watkins and Jay Lindsey (as Wrath Bat). Watkins and Lindsey have intrinsically experimental approaches to recording sound, which is apparent in both their choice of covers: Mogwai and Ween, respectively, and their creative treatment of the source material.
Of note: joining Lindsey on vocals is Sarah Moore: singer, musician, and Richmond music critic extraordinaire.
These talented folks have generously donated these tracks to launch the first installment of the 'Take Cover' subseries of Unpressed 7s. Listen up and enjoy! -Liner Notes, 3.2011
